Camera Trap

For the past couple of weeks a kind man named Nigel who lives in the village has been putting out my camera trap for me. About 5 weeks ago he saw a Badger on his camera trap and put the footage on Facebook. My mum messaged saying I have been trying to see a Badger for ages and he kindly said he would put my camera trap out. After a lot of moving the camera trap and finding the perfect place for it we finally got footage and it was AMAZING!!! We also got some other wonderful animal footage as well. Badgers are hard to get videos of as they are weary of new objects and smells, they will usually use the same route. So if you can find fresh tracks, that's the best place to put your camera trap. Badgers Family: Weasel Habitat: Deciduous and mixed woodland, hedgerows, gardens and parks. Food: Earthworms, Insects, Frogs, Small Mammals, Carrion, Roots, Buds, Fruits and Berries Breeding: Mating season Feb-Oct, 1-5 cubs. Fox Family: Dog Habitat: Inhabits virtually every kind of habitat. Garden Birds Photo Shoot

Image
This morning I sat out in the garden by the bird feeder. I took a few photos of different garden birds. Robin The robin is easy to get a photo of as they are social. Blue Tit They were nervous at first but then grew confident. House Sparrow They were sat at the top of the tree until this brave sparrow came down to say hello.
